Contraception tips

The problem with using the pill.
The pill contains synthetic oestrogen: once this ends up in the sewage system it disperses into our water.
Environment agency research in 2002 concluded that the drop in male fertilit in Britain may be due to men ingesting these female hormones in drinking water from ricers containing recycled sewage.
The packs can also be partically recycled, but normally get thrown straight in the bin.

Don't throw condoms down the toilet.
Nearly 100 million condoms are thrown away each year.
Many of these float down the toilet and float out to sea where they cause harm to marine life and shock to marine swimmers!
Latex condoms are strenghtened with added stabilisers, preservatives and vulcanising agents which stops them from being biodegradable but a landfill is probably a better place than the ocean.
